Lady Green – Enhancing Mascara

Rating: 8/10

Truly eco-friendly and cruelty-free make-up is not easy to come by. That’s why I’m always excited when I find an honestly green make-up brand. Especially after the latest newspaper article I read which said that the chemicals found in make-up, for example parabens, can accelerate puberty in girls. And that’s not even the worst thing that the study showed. Apparently, scientists also found that when pregnant women use make-up full of chemicals, it can have an effect on their future daughters. How scary is that?

All those nasty chemicals are the main reason why I decided to start using all-natural cosmetics. The newest eco-friendly make-up item in my collection is this Enhancing Mascara by the French brand Lady Green.

This beauty is not only free from chemicals like parabens, PEG, phenoxyethanol, synthetic colourants and perfume, but is also cruelty-free, Cosmébio and ECOCERT certified, and dermatologically tested. It contains healthy, nourishing and hydrating ingredients like marula and sunflower oils, orchid extract and plant waxes. This product consists of 99% natural and 19% organic ingredients.

The mascara is clearly completely safe to use, but does it also give you gorgeous lashes? Yes, it does! It’s a highly pigmented mascara that visibly lengthens your eyelashes and gives them volume. Another great thing is that it’s long-lasting, but at the same time easy to remove. I honestly love it! The product makes my lashes look beautiful without irritating my eyes. The packaging is also very cute. Overall, I definitely recommend it. If you live in Belgium, you can get it on Natural You Box for only €17.

Hope you enjoyed the post. Thanks for reading and have a fabulous day!
