Avril – Organic Eye Make-up Remover

Rating: 9/10

Applying make-up is super fun, but unfortunately you can’t keep it on forever. Eventually you have to remove it and that’s where a good make-up remover comes in. It’s important to choose a correct one, because the skin around your eyes is delicate and you don’t want to irritate it, or get a poor quality product with harmful ingredients in your eyes. So, you should definitely invest in a decent eye make-up remover, especially if you use waterproof products.

I usually wear waterproof make-up and up until now I often used oil-based removers, because with the not oily ones I had to really rub my eyes to get the make-up off. So, instead of looking red and irritated the skin around my eyes just looked pretty oily, which didn’t make me very happy either.

Right now I’m using this Organic Make-up Remover by Avril and it’s so much better than my previous ones. It’s not oil-based, but still removes my waterproof make-up very well, without making the skin around my eyes oily. The formula is soft and soothing, so it doesn’t irritate my skin either.

Further, this make-up remover is organic, vegan, paraben-free, ECOCERT certified and has a bunch of nice ingredients, of which some are from organic agriculture. Among the ingredients are orange flower water, chamomile and white lily extract, which give this product a subtle, flowery and lovely scent. It’s one of the best products I’ve tried lately and I really recommend it.
