Lily Lolo – Lip Pencil (Ruby Red)

Who doesn’t love classic red lips? They’re bold, sexy, elegant, and they make you look super confident. But only if applied flawlessly, of course, because nothing looks worse than a smudged red lipstick. To achieve that perfection you will need a good lip pencil.

20180516_165347The one I’m using now is this cutie by Lily Lolo. Its classic ruby red colour is so pretty and I just love how soft it is. It glides on smoothly, doesn’t dry my lips, and lasts a really long time. And because it’s so creamy, you can also use the pencil on its own as a lipstick.

But the best thing about it is that it’s Leaping Bunny certified, which means cruelty-free. Further, according to the Clean Beauty app that I’m using all the ingredients in this lip pencil are totally harmless to you and the environment. It’s a very handy app with a huge glossary of plant-based allergens and synthetic ingredients. You just scan the ingredients list and the app analyses it for you. I like it a lot and definitely recommend it.

20180516_165237Anyway, I’m not really a big lipliner person, but when it comes to red lips I try not to skip it. First of all, it will win you some time, because you won’t be wasting it constantly correcting smudges. Second, you will look like an experienced make-up user, because it will help you to stay inside the lines and, most importantly, it will stop your lipstick from feathering. Same thing goes for all bold colours. So if you’re into them, you should really invest in a decent lip pencil.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
