After watching several make-up tutorials, I realised that I really need a white eyeliner. Something I’ve never had before. It brightens up your eyes, makes them seem a little bigger, and makes you look more youthful. Why haven’t I been using it?
There are many ways to use a white eyeliner, but the most obvious one is to apply it on the lower waterline (please pretend my eyebrows are done too). This makes your eyes look bigger and, because I have small eyes, that is of course the effect I want to create. I don’t know if you can see it well on the picture, but my eyes definitely look brighter and more open. Try not to overuse your eyeliner though, because you will end up looking like a doll. Unless that is what you want.
Like with most products, it was very important for me to find a decent and organic white eyeliner. And I’m very happy with this one by Sante. It’s got great, creamy texture, so it applies quite nicely. It has a long-lasting effect and doesn’t smudge, even after several hours. The eyeliner also comes with a sponge tip for soft blending, which is always handy.
What makes this product even better is that it’s vegan, carmine-free and BDIH certified. Plus, many of its ingredients come from controlled organic cultivation. For example, the active ingredients: coconut oil and Shea butter. The coconut oil has a nourishing and moisturising effect, whereas Shea butter contains antioxidants and fatty acids that strengthen your skin.
All this also means that this eyeliner is pretty safe for use on the inner eyelid. For me that is basically essential, because I have very sensitive eyes and if I use bad, toxic make-up, my eyes start to tear up and by the end of the day they look horribly red. Not a pretty sight.
That being said, I hope this review was helpful and I wish you an awesome (almost) weekend!
