Biofficina Toscana – Purifying Facial Serum

I have a very annoying skin type. My nose can get really oily and has huge pores. My cheeks on the other hand are pretty dry sometimes and every now and then I get those pesky little red spots on them. At least my forehead and chin are fine. In other words, it can get quite hard for me to find a perfect skincare product for my entire face.

Unfortunately, I haven’t discovered that holy grail product yet, but I did find a great serum to tackle my oily nose problem. This alcohol-free Purifying Facial Serum is intended specifically for oily and impure skin. Thanks to the essential oils of organic lemon and rosemary this product reduces imperfections and breakouts. It also contains extracts of organic burdock, nettle, sage and yarrow, which makes this a great serum for acne-prone and oily skin. It regulates sebum and tightens the pores as well.

I’ve been using it for over a week now and I love the effect it has on my skin. It feels tighter, my nose doesn’t look so oily and my face generally looks clearer. The serum also has a really nice lemony scent. I only use it on my T-zone, because my cheeks are already pretty dry. I tried to use it on my entire face, out of curiosity, but it made my cheeks even drier. That wasn’t so good of course, but it does mean that the serum works. So I was still kind of happy.

This serum not only contains a whole bunch of natural ingredients – some of which come from controlled organic agriculture –, it’s also vegan, nickel tested and ICEA certified. This makes it a perfect alternative to non-green serums. Try it out and let me know what you think!

Thanks for reading and have a lovely day! x
