MOA – The Green Balm

There are a lot of brands out there that love to claim that their product is a true miracle in a jar, a pot or a bottle. This is, of course, in many cases just a simple exaggeration. But the product that I want to discuss today is really an exception. I got this multipurpose, healing balm in my February Birchbox and instantly fell in love.

This product couldn’t have come at a better moment, as I was struggling with an allergic reaction to a toner. Sounds like a huge coincidence, but I swear it’s the truth. πŸ˜€ I had a really weird, red spot on my face and didn’t know how to get rid of it. I used this balm and three days later it was as good as gone.Β I started using it on other problem areas, like a cat scratch on my hand, dry and itchy skin around a piercing and a small zit. It honestly worked wonders for all those things, pretty fast too.

20180305_194926You can use this awesome product to treat such pesky problems as:

  • minor rashes and skin irritations
  • small cuts, blisters and burns
  • insect bites and stings
  • dry hands, nails and cuticles
  • and much, much more.

This balm is also perfectly safe, because it’s organic and contains only natural materials. Its active ingredients are yarrow and tea tree oil, which are both powerful natural antiseptics. By the way, yarrow’s Latin name is Achillea millefolium, named after the Greek hero Achilles who supposedly used it to treat his injured soldiers.

It’s really a perfect first-aid product. Definitely try it and let me know what you think!

Cheers! x

About the brand: MOA (Magic Organic Apothecary) is a British brand founded in 2010 by Charlie Fowler. After the birth of her daughter, who suffered from serious eczema, Charlie started looking into herbal and effective treatments. The key ingredient in her products is yarrow. Charlie has a background in art and design, so she creates all the hand drawn illustrations on the packagings herself. And they’re very pretty!
